Small quake rattles Lake County

The shaker hit shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.|

A small earthquake shook the community of Hidden Valley Lake early Sunday morning.

The center of the 3.1 magnitude shaker struck about four miles northeast of Hidden Valley Lake shortly before 3 a.m. It was 11 miles southeast of Clearlake, and 26 miles northeast of Healdsburg.
