Motorcyclist injured in Highway 101 crash in Windsor

A Highway 101 motorcycle crash early Tuesday in Windsor briefly blocked the highway and sent the rider to the hospital, the CHP reported.

The 5:32 a.m. crash was in the southbound lanes near Shiloh Road.

Commute traffic was greatly impacted as emergency crews worked to clear the accident. Callers reporting the crash said the bike was down in one lane and the rider was in another.

The rider wasn't believed to have major injuries, the CHP said.

The highway was cleared by about 6:10 a.m., according to initial reports.
