The CHP said the Monday crash was blocking northbound lanes near the Steele Lane exit.|

Multiple lanes of Highway 101 in Santa Rosa became blocked after a driver of a Ford Explorer traveling north Monday morning apparently collided with a pickup, flipping the SUV multiple times, according to the CHP.

The 10 a.m. crash occurred between College Avenue and Steele Lane.

Debris from the vehicles and the wreckage left only one lane clear. By about 10:30 a.m., the CHP was warning of 20 minutes delays.

Northbound traffic was extensively affected from about Highway 12 to Steele Lane.

While an ambulance was called, initial reports indicated injuries were minor.
