Memorial for Tom Barnett set for Sunday

Friends and family of longtime Healdsburg resident Tom Barnett will gather Sunday at Villa Chanticleer to remember the late music supporter and broker of restaurant properties.|

Friends and relatives of Healdsburg resident Tom Barnett will gather Sunday at Villa Chanticleer, located just up the hill from his longtime home, for a celebration of his life.

Barnett, a musician, booster of music in the schools and real-estate broker often central to the sales of restaurant properties in Sonoma County, died Nov. 18 of complications of cancer and a blood-clot disorder. He turned 65 the previous day.

Local restaurateurs who had been close to him will provide light fare for Sunday’s celebration, which starts at 2 p.m.

Guests are invited to bring a bottle to share, and stories.
