CHP officers Tuesday were looking for a driver who they said repeatedly crashed a Volvo into another vehicle Monday evening as the two cars traveled along Highway 12 near Agua Caliente.

The hit-and-run driver left the scene after the 5:15 p.m. collisions, CHP Officer Anna Paulson said Tuesday. They occurred on the rural highway, south of Mountain Avenue, near the Church Mouse Thrift Shop and Flowery Elementary School.

The victim driver, who was in a 2009 Audi A4 sedan, was headed toward Sonoma and the suspect, believed to be in a 2002 blue Volvo sedan, was traveling toward Santa Rosa, according to the initial crash report.

No one was injured, Paulson said. The Audi sustained damage from the multiple hits.

The CHP is looking for any witnesses. Paulson asked anyone who may have seen the incident to call Officer Phil Ross at 253-4906.
