A 35-year-old Santa Rosa man suspected of being behind the graffiti tag “Spoze” was charged Monday with felony vandalism, authorities said.

Police arrested Daat Kraus Friday at his home business, Santa Rosa Tattoo on Seventh Street, where officers found evidence linking him to graffiti crimes as well as narcotics and a loaded gun, Sgt. Josh Ludtke said. Officers suspect Kraus committed at least 60 acts of vandalism over the past 11 months to both public and private properties in the city resulting in more than an estimated $3,500 in damage, Ludtke said.

Police are requesting that the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office add 59 counts of misdemeanor vandalism to charges against Kraus.
