Three Lake County men arrested in postal pot sting

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said 63 pounds of pot, 903 plants, several guns and more than $73,000 were seized.|

The U.S. Postal Service and Lake County and Clearlake law enforcement this week seized $73,141 in cash, 63 pounds of marijuana, 903 indoor pot plants, six rifles and one handgun during a three-day operation that focused on drugs and drug proceeds being shipped by mail, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.

During the operation, dubbed “nail the mailer,” they arrested Larry Morris Fabisch, 60, of Nice; Taylor Roland Fabisch of Nice; and Jonathan Robert Meisner, 28, of Clearlake. The operation included serving five state and federal warrants issued for three residences and two parcels of land, sheriff’s officials said.

Details of the operation were not available Friday.

Larry Fabisch was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and being armed in the commission of a felony. Taylor Fabisch was arrested on suspicion of cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale. Meisner was arrested on suspicion of cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale.
