Serial robber hits Rohnert Park Taco Bell, gas station

A man with gold or silver minivan and a black gun struck two businesses early Friday after an attempted donut shop robbery a week ago.|

Rohnert Park police say a serial robber has been holding up local businesses over the past week, striking twice early Friday.

The male suspect caught on surveillance camera videos is driving a silver or gold minivan and has been spotted wielding a black handgun, Sgt. Jeff Justice said.

He attempted to rob the Taco Bell on Redwood Drive just after midnight and robbed the Shell gas station on East Cotati Avenue at about 6 a.m.

The man also is suspected of trying to rob a donut shop on Golf Course Drive at 4:40 a.m. Feb. 20.

Witnesses described him as a male in his 30s or older with a beard. His minivan may be a Dodge Caravan.
