Five injured in Highway 12 crash in Boyes Hot Springs

Five people were injured in a three-car crash Friday morning on Highway 12 in Boyes Hot Springs, snarling morning traffic, according to CHP and dispatch reports.

The crash occurred just after 6:30 a.m. on the highway at Sierra Drive near the Boyes Food Center and Deli.

Emergency dispatchers were calling for several tow trucks to clear the road. Initial reports indicated four of the five people injured would be taken to hospitals for treatment.

The crash slowed traffic on the Sonoma Valley thoroughfare.
