A man suspected of smashing seven windows and doors in Lakeport since February was arrested Monday afternoon, police said.

Angel De Jesus Corona Telles, 24, of Lakeport, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony vandalism, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools, according to the Lakeport Police Department.

He’s suspected of smashing glass doors and a window at the public library on four occasions and breaking or damaging the door of a pet store three times. He’s also suspected of breaking into a newspaper vending machine, police said. Items found during a search of Telles’ home linked him with burglaries at the library and the pet store, police said.

Telles was arrested after police stopped him in connection with the newspaper machine burglary.
