West Petaluma crash blocks roadway

Debris from Sunday’s collision on Bodega Avenue littered the roadway, according to the CHP.|

Two vehicles collided Sunday morning on Bodega Avenue, west of Petaluma, briefly blocking the major west county route, according to the CHP.

The 10:40 a.m. crash occurred at Middle Two Rock Road and involved a sedan and a pickup, according to CHP reports.

The people in the vehicles were assessed for injuries and reportedly no one was taken to a hospital.

Reports included at least one of the vehicles flipped from the impact and that the wreckage and debris littered the east- and westbound lanes, blocking the road for about 30 minutes.

Bodega Avenue connects western Petaluma with Highway 1 near Tomales.
