Hwy. 101 collision near Petaluma blocks lanes

At least three vehicles collided late Sunday morning on Highway 101 near the Sonoma-Marin county line, leaving one sedan on its roof and drivers trying to pull people from their vehicles, according to the CHP.

The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes, south of Kastania Road near the Novato Sanitary Landfill, the CHP said.

Two lanes were blocked from the crash, according to initial reports.

At least one ambulance responded and it appeared injuries were minor, the CHP said.
