Ukiah police said Wednesday they don’t suspect foul play in the case of a man whose body was found behind a Staples store over the weekend.

The body of George Chambers, 46, of Ukiah was discovered at about 9 p.m. Saturday in an enclosure where garbage dumpsters are stored, Ukiah Police Capt. Justin Wyatt said. The body was not inside a dumpster, Wyatt said.

The man, who had once been cited for dumpster diving, was not homeless, Wyatt said.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death is scheduled to be completed today, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
