Here’s where to find Sonoma County’s Independence Day celebrations.

JULY 3

Bodega Bay: Fireworks over the water start at sunset.

Monte Rio: Fireworks show and Parade of Lights aka Over the River begins 6 p.m. Friday at Monte Rio Beach. Enjoy the patriotic images projected on the water curtain on the bridge.

Sebastopol: Annual Fireworks and Music Festival opens its gates 5:30 p.m. Friday at Analy High School’s football field, 6950 Analy Ave. Admission is $10, $5 for ages 6-11 or free for children under 6. Fireworks show begins approximately 9:40 p.m. Bring blankets and picnic food. seb.org.

Windsor: The annual Independence Day celebration includes beer, wine and margaritas for sale, live music, food and games 4-10 p.m. Friday at Keiser Park, 700 Windsor River Road. Admission is $5 or free for kids under 2; VIP tickets cost $50. Fireworks begin 9:30 p.m. No pets or barbecue grills.

JULY 4

Cloverdale: Fourth of July Community Barbecue, hosted by the Lions, Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus, runs 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Cloverdale City Park, 490 W. Cloverdale: Fourth of July Fireworks Display, hosted by the Cloverdale Lions Club, starts 9 p.m. Saturday at Cloverdale High School football field, 97 School St. Free. 894-2273.

Guerneville: Guerneville hosts a day-long party 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, with the Russian River Rotary’s barbecue, live music, kids’ activities and a block party throughout town. After dusk, fireworks will paint the sky.

Healdsburg: American Legion Sotoyome Post 111 hosts the annual Healdsburg Fireworks 3-10 p.m. Saturday at Healdsburg High School field, 360 Monte Vista. Cotton candy, ice cream and hot dogs sales start 6 p.m. Show starts approximately 9:20 p.m. healdsburgfireworks.org.

Petaluma: The annual bell ringing ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on the front steps of the Petaluma Historical Library & Museum, 20 Fourth St., with a Boy Scout color guard, a proclamation, music by the Deardorff Sisters and a chance to ring the Liberty bell. 778-4398. A community celebration at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds begins at 5 p.m., with fireworks set to begin at dusk. Admission is $5. Kids younger than 10 get in free.

Rohnert Park: Fourth of July Spectacular with Megan Hilty and the Santa Rosa Symphony begins 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Green Music Center, 1801 E. Cotati Ave. Admission is $35 for indoor seating and $20 outdoors. Gates open 4:30 p.m. with family activities including games, music and food. (866) 955-6040.

Santa Rosa: Sonoma County Fairground’s “Red, White and Boom!” celebration begins 3:30 p.m. Saturday at 1350 Bennett Valley Road. Admission is $10, $5 for veterans and ages 5-11 or free for children under 5; VIP pass costs $50. Parking costs $5. Sonoma: Sonoma Community Center hosts its 52nd annual old-fashioned Fourth of July parade 10 a.m. Saturday around the Sonoma Plaza. Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters’ Association presents its free fireworks show sundown at General Vallejo’s Home, Third Street West and West Spain Street. Villa Grande: Villagers assemble in the town square to read excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and play patriotic songs 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Villa Grande Beach.
