Santa Rosa police Thursday released photographs of bicycles, sports memorabilia and other items found in a trove of stolen property officers found at an abandoned duplex and asked the public to help identify the owners.

Police have linked the property to at least five burglaries, including a .22-caliber rifle, Sgt. Josh Ludtke said.

The investigation began June 17 when neighbors told police that people appeared to be trespassing at the vacant duplex on West Third Street west of Stony Point Road, Ludtke said. Officers arrested two people on suspicion of burglary and being a felon in possession of a firearm: Christopher Giles, 32, of Santa Rosa and Jasmine Alina Larochelle, 32, of Santa Rosa, the sergeant said. Officers found Larochelle hiding in a cabinet, he said.

Other items found include a replica firearm, an electric guitar, sports figurines and other items that do not necessarily have a high monetary value but might help police link the suspects to additional burglaries, Ludtke said. Many items have already been returned to the owners.
