Wildfire burns 10 acres near Ukiah

A wildfire burned 10 acres near Ukiah Wednesday morning, a Cal Fire official said.

The fire caught in grass along Highway 101 at mile post 19.5.

Firefighters responded quickly after the so-called Burke Fire was reported at 11:06 a.m. They had it contained by 11:44 a.m., said Cal Fire Spokeswoman Julie Cooley.

The cause is under investigation.
