Discount tickets for the Sonoma County Fair are on sale now through July 23, offering fairgoers a chance to save money on admission for this year’s 15-day bonanza, which starts July 24 and runs through Aug 9.

Early sale prices include $8 single-day admission tickets for people 13 and older and $5 tickets for kids ages 7-12, except for Fridays, when all kids get in for free. Children 6 and younger get in free every day. Adults 60 and older get free admission on Thursdays. The fair is closed on Mondays.

Season passes, covering all 15 days of the fair, are $40 per person.

Tickets at the gate are $11 for people 13 and older.

The theme this year for the Sonoma County Fair is “Down on the Farm.” Events include horse racing, a carnival, flower displays, live music and a variety of games and contests for kids.

Tickets are available at SonomaCountyFair.com or at the box office at 1350 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
