Firefighters extinguished two small Sonoma County wildfires on Saturday that did not damage any structures, Cal Fire said.

In the first incident, crews put out a fast-moving fire at the 4400 block of D Street in Petaluma in about 45 minutes, said Cal Fire spokeswoman Suzie Blankenship.

The 8-acre blaze did not threaten any of the nearby homes, Blankenship said.

Firefighters later extinguished a 2-acre blaze near the 4000 block of Sonoma Mountain Road in Bennett Valley, Cal Fire reported. The blaze was reported at 8:20 p.m.
