The Santa Rosa mother who prosecutors say helped three Windsor homicide suspects escape to Mexico pleaded not guilty Thursday to all charges.

Leticia Isela Sanchez, 43, is charged with driving the three minors to the state of Sonora after detectives said one of them gunned down Windsor High School sophomore Nathan Torres on June 22, 2014.

Suspects Flavio Caballero, Duane Morgan and Oscar Aguilar, now all 18, since have been arrested. All are charged with murder.

Sanchez, who is the mother of a fourth man who initially drove the suspects to Reno, is charged with being an accessory to the murder and contributing to the delinquency of minors.

She appeared in court in a blue jail uniform and said “Good morning, your honor,” before pleading not guilty and denying special allegations involving gang participation.

Judge Patrick Broderick set her preliminary hearing for Oct. 23.

A preliminary hearing for the three murder suspects is Sept. 14.
