Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law Sunday a bill that requires day care workers and volunteers in California to be vaccinated against measles, pertussis and influenza. The new law, which goes into effect Jan. 1, closely follows another bill, signed by Brown in June, that requires children entering primary school to be vaccinated.
