A traffic accident involving an overturned vehicle blocked the southbound lanes of Highway 101 Sunday afternoon.
Reported at 3:15 p.m. near Highway 116, the crash trapped an occupant of the overturned vehicle, according to the CHP website.
Early reports said two vehicles were involved, a silver SUV, and a silver or gray sedan. One of the vehicles made an unsafe pass and hit a concrete divider, according to the CHP.
By 3:49 p.m. all lanes were reopened. Injuries were reported to be minor for the person extricated from the overturned vehicle.
