Two Petaluma men were arrested early Saturday after police said they broke into Casa Grande High School.

Robert Barrera and Ricardo Flores, both 20, are suspected of forcing their way into the school through a roof hatch, according to the Petaluma Police Department.

The pair then took two large stereo speakers from a classroom, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the school after an alarm went off around midnight. While officers were combing the campus, Lt. Marlin Christensen spotted the pair running toward Casa Grande Road. He chased down the men, who still had the speakers, police said.

Barrera and Flores both were booked into the Sonoma County Jail on burglary charges.
