Is the Golden Gate Bridge's Vista Point getting too popular for its own good? Maybe, reports ABC7, and closing off the landmark's iconic viewpoint during busy times is one way officials are considering dealing with the traffic troubles that come with that popularity.

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge, especially on weekends, and you can't miss the line of vehicles from San Francisco creeping along waiting to get into the popular Marin County lookout.

The vehicles, hoping to snag one of the 122 available parking spots, clog northbound traffic on Highway 101, frustrating commuters and tourists, alike.

A closure, only a temporary fix, will be just one of the solutions discussed when the Golden Gate Bridge District meets later this month to discuss the problem.
