Man's body found in Bay Area high school pool

SAN JOSE — A man's body was found in a swimming pool at a Northern California high school.

Authorities say they responded to an emergency call shortly before 9 a.m. Friday reporting a body in Piedmont High School's outdoor pool in San Jose.

The victim was not a student. His name and age were not released. The San Jose Police Department is investigating. No other details were released Friday afternoon.

The school canceled classes.
