A 56-year-old East Bay woman died after a man suspected of driving drunk crashed into her motorcycle in Ukiah Saturday afternoon, the CHP said.

The Pacheco woman was driving her 2016 Beta motorcycle west on Highway 20 just before 5 p.m. as Jesse Bourdeaux, 28, of Dos Rios, was driving eastbound in his pickup.

Bourdeaux lost control of his Ford F250 and crossed the double yellow line, colliding with the motorcyclist, the CHP said in a news release. He is suspected of driving while intoxicated.

The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bordeaux wasn’t injured in the crash and was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol, the CHP said.
