Crews put out small Cotati Grade grass fire

Firefighters put out a small grass fire early Saturday at the Cotati Grade, authorities said.

Crews responded to the scene at 12:40 a.m. of a car fire that triggered the grass fire. The blaze burned a quarter of an acre of land, authorities said.

The Rancho Adobe Fire Department, the Petaluma Fire Department and Cal Fire responded to the incident.
