Three suspects sought in Santa Rosa store robbery

Three suspects took cash, gift cards and other property from the Cash for Gift Cards store in Santa Rosa.|

Three suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, gift cards and other property Friday night from the Cash for Gift Cards store at 405 Santa Rosa Ave., the Santa Rosa Police Department reported.

The suspects fled the scene after the robbery at 10:01 p.m. One of them, described as a male in his mid- to late-50s who is about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, then struck him several times in the head with the firearm.

The victim, a 52-year-old Petaluma resident, was complying with the robber’s demand when struck. His name was not released due to the violent nature of the crime.

The second suspect was described as a female in her mid-50s, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 200 pounds. The third suspect is described as a female in her mid-20s about 5 feet 2 inches tall.
