Rohnert Park man stabbed in Juilliard Park gang attack

A 25-year-old man was stabbed in what Santa Rosa police are describing as a gang attack Thursday at Juilliard Park.

The man, a Rohnert Park resident, left the park and was taken later to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

Police said the stabbing occurred at 5 p.m. when the man was walking through the park, was accosted by a group of several men who forced him to the ground and he was then stabbed.

The assailants fled the area on foot.

Police said the assault appears to be gang related and is being investigated by Santa Rosa?s Gang Crimes Team responded and took over the investigation.
