Clearlake police are seeking a homeless man they suspect of stabbing another in an assault near a city park.

Clearlake Sgt. Rodd Joseph warned that Craig Allen Fenno Jr., 28, still could be armed and dangerous following Saturday’s attack on Seventh Street.

The 38-year-old Clearlake victim was found in the 3000 block, bleeding from several serious wounds, Joseph said in a news release.

The victim initially didn’t cooperate but an investigation revealed Fenno as a suspect, Joseph said.

Police describe Fenno as 5-foot-9, 145 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He is wanted on suspicion of attempted homicide for the Clearlake stabbing and also is the subject of other arrest warrants in Lake and Napa counties.

Joseph asked anyone seeing Fenno to contact police dispatch at 707-994-8251 or Officer Mark Harden at 707-994-8251, ext. 503.

The victim, who was flown to an out-of-county hospital, was in stable condition. His name wasn’t released. A motive for the attack also wasn’t released.
