SAN FRANCISCO - A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing two men in the head with a screwdriver and stealing their belongings on a San Francisco Bay Area commuter train.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/2bNp8Jz) Tuesday that Ronald Nalls was booked on two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and three counts of robbery for the Saturday attack on a Fremont-bound BART train.

BART Police Sgt. John Power says Nalls got off the train after two people tried to restrain him. When he reached the street he reportedly robbed a man of his bicycle at knifepoint. He was quickly detained by police.

The conditions of the victims were not known Tuesday but both were hospitalized after the incident.

Nalls was being held without bail. It's not clear if he has yet been assigned an attorney.
