A report of two gunshot victims mobilized police and emergency medical personnel who responded to a northwest Santa Rosa neighborhood late Sunday night.

Details of the 10:11 p.m. incident were not immediately available, though REDCOM, the county’s emergency dispatching system, reported being alerted by police to two patients with apparently serious injuries at a Pioneer Way apartment, between Piner Road and Pinercrest Drive.

Medical personnel and two ambulances responded. Police were not available to comment.
