Fire burns 15 acres, destroys home near Willits

Firefighters have contained a fire that burned 15 acres and destroyed a home Wednesday afternoon north of Willits.

Several dozen firefighters on Thursday morning continued working the fire, which ignited in the Oil Well Hill area about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Cal Fire said.

The fire is believed to have started along Highway 101. The cause remains under investigation, officials said.
