A Mendocino County man was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison in connection with an alcohol-fueled crash that killed a Contra Costa County woman, according to the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office.

Jesse Davidson Bourdeaux, 28, of Dos Rios, previously had been convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter while driving intoxicated, according to the district attorney’s office.

The deadly crash occurred May 21 on Highway 20 as it winds through Jackson State Forest. Bordeaux lost control of his Ford F-250, crossed over the double yellow lines and plowed into a motorcycle driven by Ingrid Fedje, 56, of Pacheco, killing her, district attorney’s officials said.

Bordeaux’s blood alcohol level at the time was 0.21, nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08.
