Two rewards totaling more than $7,000 are being offered for help in finding and convicting the killer or killers of a Cotati man found buried on the Sonoma State University campus last month.

The remains of Kirk Kimberly, 18, were found in a shallow grave Nov. 2, about two weeks after the Rancho Cotate High School graduate went missing following a trip to meet a friend.

An autopsy determined he died of multiple stab wounds.

There have been no arrests. On Wednesday, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office announced the two rewards. One, created by family and friends through the website Youcaring.com, has raised more than $4,700.

A second reward from Sonoma County Alliance is up to $2,500, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Anyone with information on Kimberly's death is asked to call detectives at 707- 565-2185.
