The identities of three people injured in a head-on crash in west Santa Rosa earlier this week were released Thursday.

The crash involving a pickup and a Prius happened Tuesday afternoon at Stony Point Road and Ludwig Avenue.

Joseph Herschel Abell, 26, of Santa Rosa, the driver of the pickup, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with chest pain. Prius driver Dora Luz Meza Robles, 36, also of Santa Rosa, went to the same hospital with a broken leg and pelvis.

Robles' 16-year-old daughter also was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Her name was not released because she is a minor.

The crash happened about 1 p.m. when Abell veered into oncoming traffic and hit Robles' car. Witnesses said Abell was driving erratically before the crash.

Police were still investigating the cause Thursday. Drug or alcohol impairment was not suspected, police said.
