A three-vehicle crash on Highway 37 near Sears Point sent three people to the hospital Thursday night, one by helicopter.

The crash happened just west of Arnold Drive around 8 p.m. and closed traffic in the eastbound direction for a time.

The cars involved were a Honda Civic, a Honda Fit and a black Ford, according to dispatch records.

One elderly woman was listed in dispatch records as “barely responsive” with abdominal injuries and a broken arm. She was taken by helicopter to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, Officer Marc Johnston said.

Investigators from the Marin office of the CHP were on scene and unavailable to immediately share additional details, Johnston said.
