Six people were arrested Monday in Clearlake Oaks during a marijuana sweep that turned up more than 45,000 plants, almost 200 pounds of processed marijuana and two guns, according to Lake County sheriff’s officials.

The Monday morning seizures were made from two properties in the 24000 block of East State Highway 20 by a team of sheriff’s narcotics deputies, the Mendocino County marijuana eradication team and the state National Guard drug task force.

At one property, officers found a large marijuana complex with greenhouse and outdoor plantings. At an adjacent property, they found thousands of plants growing on a hillside, according to officials.

Arrested were Jeffrey Mann, 58, She Huang, 51, Xiaofeng Wang, 46, Tanng Zhili, 51, Martin Arellano-Carillo, 39, and Severiano Carrillo-Alvarado, 29. The suspects’ towns of residence weren’t released.

At one site water for the plants was diverted from a creek, using a gas pump. Unpermitted grading also had been done to create a pond, officials said.
