A late-morning crash Tuesday on Lakeville Highway near Highway 37 injured a woman driver and temporarily blocked traffic, according to the CHP.

Officers initially allowed one-way traffic around the 11 a.m. crash, slowing drivers on the busy route connecting four counties but both lanes were open by 12:20 p.m.

Several drivers called 911 to report a flipped Subaru Forester and a woman trapped inside, the CHP said.

Firefighters from several agencies responded including Lakeville, Petaluma, Cal Fire, Novato and San Antonio. They freed the driver and she was taken by ambulance to Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, the CHP said. The extent of her injuries weren’t initially clear.

A CHP helicopter and a medical helicopter also responded.
