Small brush fire attracts attention in downtown Guerneville

Firefighters battled a small brush fire visible from downtown Guerneville Thursday night, an emergency dispatcher said.

Russian River Fire Protection District and Cal Fire crews were working a 100-square-foot fire in the 16100 block of Palo Alto Drive, across River Road from the River Theater at 10 p.m.

No structures were involved, the REDCOM dispatcher said.
