CONCORD - Authorities have charged four people for their involvement in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old student near his San Francisco Bay Area high school.

The Contra Costa County district attorney on Tuesday charged two adults and two juveniles with murder and connected charges for the slaying of 17-year-old Lawrence Janson. A fifth juvenile arrested was released without charges filed.

Police identified Kristhiam Uceda, 20, and Bryan Sermeno-Chachagua, 18, as two of the suspects. The other two suspects are juveniles who weren't identified.

Uceda is charged murder and is suspected of being the gunman. Sermeno-Chachagua is charged with hiding the gun. Jail records don't show if the suspects are represented by attorneys.

Police say school was not in session Monday afternoon when a passenger got out of a four-door sedan, walked up to a group of students and shot Janson.

Janson ran back on to the campus of Olympic High School and was treated by staff until paramedics took him to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.
