Rohnert Park man arrested on cocaine, marijuana charges

A 22-year old Rohnert Park man was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing cocaine and marijuana for sale and transportation of drugs, Rohnert Park police said.

An officer pulled Benjamin Khiobouakham over at about noon on State Farm Drive at the Rohnert Park Expressway after he didn't use a turn signal to change lanes, Acting Sgt. Brandon Davidge said.

The officer smelled marijuana in the vehicle and found a small amount of marijuana and two grams of cocaine in the vehicle, Davidge said.

Officers later searched Khiobouakham's home on Civic Center Drive where they found another gram of cocaine and a half-pound of marijuana, Davidge said. They also seized a rifle and a shotgun as well as other evidence of drug sales, Davidge said.

Khiobouakham was being held on $30,000 bail at the Sonoma County Jail.
