An 83‑year‑old Petaluma man died Wednesday morning after crashing his truck on a rural roadway northwest of Petaluma, according to the CHP.

Donald Lawrence Sartori crashed about 7:40 a.m. on Bodega Avenue east of Middle Two Rock Road. His Chevrolet Colorado crashed into a drainage culvert.

Sartori, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.

Witnesses told officers the truck drifted off the roadway. Officers said it’s possible the man suffered a medical emergency prior to crashing.
