Investigators are looking for a witness to the Rohnert Park officer-involved shooting that happened in front of the police station the night of Jan. 14.

The witness was parked outside the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety building when officers fired 11 shots at a man who, authorities say, fired a handgun in front of the police station and repeatedly asked to be killed. The man, identified as 21-year-old Antonio Ramirez Frati, of Rohnert Park, was shot three times after attempts to deescalate the situation failed, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said. He is expected to survive his injuries.

A news release from the department of public safety said investigators spoke with the witness at the time of the shooting, but they need to speak with them again.

The person in question is asked to contact the department's investigation bureau at 707-584-2630 or rpdpsinvestigations@rpcity.org.
