A free musical retreat is being offered this weekend at the CYO Retreat Center in Occidental for people who lost homes in the October wildfires.

The weekend retreat, called “Phoenix Rising,” is hosted by a group of Sonoma County women through workshops called the Magic of Music, which aim to support fire victims’ recovery through song and dance.

The retreat will run from Friday through Sunday afternoon, and lodging and meals will be provided, though participants are asked to bring their own bedding and towels, if possible.

For more information, or to sign up for the weekend, go to magicofmusic.net.
