Sonoma men arrested, suspected in Marin County assault, robbery

A Mill Valley resident called for help, saying two men had come to his home, assaulted him and stole some belongings.|

Two Sonoma men were arrested this weekend on suspicion of a Marin County assault and robbery, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

A Mill Valley resident called for help about 1:50 p.m. Saturday, saying two acquaintances came to his home, assaulted him and stole property, according to a news release. The victim, who wasn’t identified, had minor injuries.

Marin deputies determined the suspects were from Sonoma and alerted authorities. About 8 p.m. Saturday, Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies arrested Elisha Reyes, 25, and Hosea Reyes, 22, in Sonoma.

Officials didn’t release details on a motive or further details of the incident.

The two were booked into the Marin County Jail, suspected of robbery, burglary, battery and conspiracy. Bail was set at $50,000 each.
