‘Smallville' star Allison Mack may have tried to recruit Emma Watson, Kelly Clarkson into sex cult

Allison Mack, the “Smallville” star who allegedly also had a starring role in a sex cult, tried to recruit celebrities online before being arrested earlier this month.

The 35-year-old actress, who allegedly helped recruit “sex slaves” into a secret society called “DOS,” reached out to both Emma Watson and Kelly Clarkson on social media in what look like early introductions to NXIVM.

“I'm a fellow actress like yourself & involved in an amazing women's movement I think you'd dig. I'd love to chat if you're open,” Mack tweeted at Watson in January 2016.

“I participate in a unique human development & women's movement I'd love to tell you about. As a fellow actress I can relate so well to your vision and what you want to see in the world. I think we could work together. Let me know if you're willing to chat,” she wrote a month later.

She sent a slightly more subtle tweet to Clarkson in July 2013, offering to “chat sometime.”

Mack pleaded not guilty Friday to charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy. She could face 15 years to life in prison if convicted.

The actress, who played Clark Kent's best friend on the WB for 10 seasons, allegedly served as founder Keith Raniere's second in command.

According to court documents, she forced her “slaves” to have sex with Raniere and provided him with naked photos of the women. They were also forced to strip naked and branded with his initials.

“As alleged in the indictment, Allison Mack recruited women to join what was purported to be a female mentorship group that was, in fact, created and led by Keith Raniere,” U.S. Attorney Richard Donoghue said in a statement.

“The victims were then exploited, both sexually and for their labor, to the defendants' benefit.”

Raniere was also arrested after being captured in Mexico at the end of March.

A representative for Watson did not immediately return a request for comment.
