Police are looking for a suspect who robbed an Exchange Bank branch in Santa Rosa on Monday afternoon and fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The man entered the bank at 2201 Mendocino Ave. around 3:30 p.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money, police said.

After receiving the cash, the man left in a newer model black sedan. He did not brandish a weapon during the crime, police said.

The suspect is described as being in his 20s with long hair and a beard. He was wearing a dark-?colored jacket over a dark-colored sweatshirt, as well as a baseball hat, police said. Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Santa Rosa Police Department at 707-543-3590.

This was the second bank robbery within a week in Sonoma County.

On Friday, a man robbed a Chase Bank branch in Cloverdale, snatching an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the bank that’s only blocks from the city Police Department office.
