MILL VALLEY — Authorities have discovered two men dead in neighboring backyards in Marin County.

Marin County Sheriff's Lt. Doug Pittman says investigators think the deaths in an unincorporated part of Mill Valley are related and are treating them as a double homicide.

Detectives were investigating the first man's death late Wednesday. They discovered the second man's body in the adjacent yard early the next morning.

Details about how the men were killed were not released. The victims have not been identified.
