SAN FRANCISCO - Two San Francisco police officers and a suspect were taken to a hospital after a dispute between neighbors ended with gunfire.

The officers and the suspect have non-life-threatening injuries following the shooting early Friday.

San Francisco Police Officer Gisele Talkoff says the incident started at a home where two officers responded to a call about a violation of a restraining order.

Talkoff says officers approached a man to talk to him but the discussion quickly turned physical. Talkoff says an officer's baton was taken.

Police used pepper spray on the suspect, but he continued to fight with police. The suspect then barricaded himself inside a home and called 911 to say he'd been shot.

Police forced their way into the home and arrested the man. His name was not released.
