SAN FRANCISCO - Police say a commercial dump truck without a driver barreled down a San Francisco street injuring three people and damaging nine vehicles.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the runaway truck crashed into parked vehicles and collided with at least three moving cars in the Pacific Heights neighborhood on Tuesday.

Police say the motorists' injuries were minor, and the cause of the runaway truck does not appear to be intentional.

Police say mechanical or human error could have caused the truck to roll downhill. The driver is cooperating with investigators.
